Oakdale Community Centre hosts an annual 3 on 3 basketball tournament/BBQ on August 23rd to commemorate the lives of O'she Doyles-Whyte & Kwame Duodu. The goal of this event put together by the Whyte and Duodu families is to promote anti-gun violence and give students positive incentive for the upcoming school year via their universal love for the game of basketball. Tired of Talking with the assistance of Under Armour provided Jane & Finch youths with 200 backpacks filled with T-shirts and school utencils.
